We have an immediate Forklift opportunity with a great company in York. This company operates in a temperature-controlled environment and provides a positive workplace culture, growth opportunities and attractive incentives.
Summary of the Forklift position :
- Location : York, Nebraska
- Schedule : 2nd shift : 2 PM - 12 AM (1st shift during slow season : 7 AM - 4 PM)
- Compensation : Starts at $17 / hour
- Perks : Comprehensive benefits package, attendance and performance incentives and advancement opportunities
Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator :
- Operate a propane 5,000 capacity forklift efficiently and safely.
- Pick orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Utilize SAP for order tracking and data entry.
- Inspect orders for accuracy and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications for the Forklift position :
- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator is essential.
- Ability to lift 70 pounds occasionally.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar inventory management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking.
- Proven ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
- Flexibility to switch shifts during the slow season (April).
